JLL Onboards Retail Leaders to Bolster Experiential Leasing Platform

JLL has strengthened its retail and entertainment leasing capabilities with the appointment of two industry veterans. Joshua Strauss and Scott Zinovoy, the co-founders of the real estate firm Dreamscape, have joined the company’s project leasing team. Strauss steps into the role of executive managing director, while Zinovoy becomes a senior vice president.

The new hires are tasked with advancing JLL’s initiatives regarding experiential retail, entertainment venues, and mixed-use developments. Patrick A. Smith, vice chairman at JLL, noted that the pair’s track record in creating consumer destinations will enhance the firm’s project leasing platforms in New York and across the nation.

Strauss and Zinovoy bring a decade of collaboration on prominent mixed-use leases. Their portfolio includes work at the South Street Seaport in New York City, the Arcade retail marketplace in Nashville, and Miami’s Bayside Marketplace. Prior to establishing Dreamscape, the two worked together at RKF and later at Newmark, following RKF’s acquisition in 2018.

JLL, a commercial real estate and investment management firm, sees the addition as a strategic move to navigate the evolving retail sector. The company’s stock was recently trading at $325.94, reflecting a slight decline of 1.27% from the previous close.
