United Talent Agency Secures 101K SF Headquarters at Empire State Building

Empire State Realty Trust (ESRT) has secured a major tenant for its iconic flagship property. United Talent Agency (UTA) has leased 100,948 square feet at the Empire State Building, establishing a consolidated East Coast headquarters. The move brings together the agency’s various Manhattan operations under one roof at the 20 West 34th Street tower.

Located on floors 32 through 35, the new space was listed with an asking rent of $96 per square foot. The lease allows UTA to house its operations alongside its partners, including Klutch Sports Group and DBA, a digital influencer management firm. The agency represents a diverse roster of high-profile clients in entertainment and sports.

Negotiations were led by a team from Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated, represented by Mitchell Konsker, Benjamin Bass, and Harrison Potter. Bass noted that the decision was driven by the building’s infrastructure, highlighting the flexible floor plates and extensive amenities available at the Art Deco landmark. On the landlord side, ESRT’s in-house team worked alongside brokerage Newmark to finalize the agreement.

The transaction marks a significant commitment to the Midtown Manhattan office market by a major entertainment firm. For ESRT, the lease fills a substantial block of premium space in the city’s tallest office building.
