Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) has expanded its asset management capabilities by appointing a former senior executive from competitor CBRE Group, Inc. The new hire, who previously served as Senior Managing Director at CBRE, steps into the role of Lead Director of Asset Management Services at JLL.
According to the report, the move brings significant industry experience to JLL as the firm looks to bolster its service offerings. The executive’s background includes overseeing complex portfolios and delivering advisory services, skills that align closely with JLL’s strategy to enhance value for clients across various property types. The leadership change comes at a time when commercial real estate firms are increasingly focused on optimizing asset performance in a shifting economic environment.
JLL operates as a commercial real estate and investment management company, engaging in buying, building, occupying, managing, and investing in office, industrial, hotel, multi-family, retail, and data center properties. Its primary competitor, CBRE, operates through segments such as Advisory Services, Building Operations and Experience, and Project Management.
