PulteGroup expands Explore by Del Webb to Utah

PulteGroup, the nation’s third-largest home builder, will expand its Explore by Del Webb brand to Utah, with the first location planned for the Jordanelle Ridge master-planned community near Park City, according to a company announcement.
Launched in 2025, Explore by Del Webb draws on Del Webb’s 65 years of experience developing resort-style communities. The brand focuses on home designs and amenities intended to support wellness, active living and social connection.
Explore by Del Webb Jordanelle Ridge is planned for about 900 homes and will offer a localized version of the Explore concept for Utah’s Wasatch Back. The community will be located minutes from Park City and Deer Valley and is part of the 8,000-acre Jordanelle Ridge master plan.
Current plans for Explore by Del Webb Jordanelle Ridge include a clubhouse, 10-acre lake, pool, fitness center, pickleball courts, and a dedicated sauna and cold plunge area. A dining and bar venue is also planned, oriented to capture mountain views. Residents are expected to have access to more than 75 miles of hiking and biking trails within Jordanelle Ridge.
“Having grown up in Utah, it’s hard for me to imagine a more incredible setting for our Explore by Del Webb brand than Jordanelle Ridge,” said Ryan Marshall, president and CEO of PulteGroup, in a press release. “With the Wasatch Mountains as the backdrop and Park City just minutes away, this is a place where outdoor recreation, wellness, and thoughtfully designed homes and amenities can truly become part of everyday life.”
Models and a sales center for Explore by Del Webb Jordanelle Ridge are expected to open in late 2027.
Explore by Del Webb communities are currently selling at North River Ranch in the Tampa, Florida, area; Northstar in Columbus, Ohio; and Palm Desert in Southern California, PulteGroup said. PulteGroup said Explore Verona, the brand’s second Tampa-area community in Dade City, Florida, is under development, with sales expected to begin in mid-2027.
“Explore is about giving people more ways to enjoy where they live and how they spend their time, because they’ve earned it,” said Sean Strickler, president of PulteGroup’s West Florida division, who helps shape the Explore by Del Webb brand nationally. “That can mean getting in a workout, spending time outdoors, meeting friends for a drink or simply enjoying the spaces around you. Each community will reflect its location, but the idea behind Explore is the same: thoughtful homes, great amenities and more opportunities to enjoy everyday life.”
